I mean think about the types of families for a second. Any modern day software is designed such that it operates at the level of concepts that its users understand, and consequently they don't need to learn how to use it, it's just intuitive. We no longer need to bend users to software or force users to learn about software just to use it.

It's not 1995 anymore, and software does not face the same limitations that it used to. The problem is that none of those steps should exist. Sorry if this was a rant, but I'm using Revit for 5 years now and I can't convince someone to use Revit from AutoCAD if I myself don't see the benefits of it. We should have standard Macros enabled in 2022. Always need an additional addon like Dynamo and StabiCAD and then need a skill extra to use those addons. You would think that Autodesk get more than enough complaints for even the most simple shit and then they don't do shit about it.
